The Trauma Recovery Institute
Access, correct, erase, restrict, object and request portability where applicable.
This policy covers visitors, applicants, purchasers and enrolled students using our website, WooCommerce enrolment
journey, LearnDash learning platform, events and Institute communications.
Do not submit identifiable client or patient information through public forms, discussions or ordinary messages.
Access is limited to authorised Institute personnel and service providers needed to operate hosting, WordPress/WooCommerce/LearnDash, payments, email delivery, Google Meet scheduling, security and support. Providers act under appropriate contractual and data-protection safeguards. International transfers, where used, must rely on a lawful transfer mechanism.
Data is kept only for the period needed to provide access, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes and protect the platform. Retention periods are reviewed by data category. Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
Lesson notes are private to the student by default. They are not shared with instructors or supervisors unless the student deliberately uses a future sharing function.
Programme progress and completion records are visible to authorised administrators for delivery and support.
Rights depend on the circumstances and applicable law. Identity may be verified before a request is completed.
Complaints may be made to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Necessary cookies support login, checkout, security and student access. Non-essential analytics or marketing cookies require the choices presented in the cookie control.
