01 THE ENROLMENT CONTRACT
- By completing checkout, the student enters an enrolment contract with The Trauma Recovery Institute for the programme described at purchase.
- The programme is advanced professional education. It is not psychotherapy, medical treatment or a substitute for individual clinical advice.
- “Master’s-level” describes the intended academic depth; it does not by itself represent the award of a university degree.
02 WHAT THE PROGRAMME INCLUDES
- Immediate access to ten digital learning modules.
- Ten scheduled one-to-one live lectures.
- Institute-provided learning resources and student-platform tools.
- Access for 24 months from activation.
Purchase alone does not guarantee completion, certification or accreditation.
03 PRICE, PAYMENT & ACCOUNT
- The programme fee is €4,500, payable through secure checkout. Failed, cancelled or pending payment does not activate access.
- Enrolment is personal and non-transferable. Each student must use one accurate account and keep login details secure.
- Account sharing is prohibited.
- An enrolled student must not purchase the same programme twice; account or order issues should be referred to support.
04 IMMEDIATE DIGITAL ACCESS & CANCELLATION
- Access begins after successful payment and the required unticked checkout acknowledgements.
- The student expressly requests immediate supply during the applicable cancellation period and acknowledges the consequence for the change-of-mind right once digital content supply begins.
THE CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY FORMS PART OF THESE TERMS. STATUTORY RIGHTS REMAIN UNAFFECTED.
05 ACCESS PERIOD & TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Programme access continues for 24 months from activation unless ended in writing or ended under these terms.
- The student is responsible for a supported browser, reliable internet connection, compatible device and access to the email address registered to the account.
- Temporary maintenance may occur. The Institute will take reasonable steps to restore material interruptions.
06 LIVE LECTURES
- Ten one-to-one live lectures are included and will be scheduled through the student platform. Google Meet is the initial video platform.
- Dates may be reasonably rescheduled with notice. The student is responsible for joining at the displayed local time and maintaining an appropriate private setting.
- Recordings are available only where the Institute deliberately records, obtains any required consent and publishes them.
07 CLINICAL SUPERVISION & ACCREDITATION
- Twenty one-to-one clinical supervision sessions are required for Institute accreditation.
- They are not included in the €4,500 programme fee.
- They are booked and paid for separately.
- Supervision has separate scheduling and cancellation terms.
- Confidential clinical material must be handled in accordance with professional, ethical and data-protection duties.
08 STUDENT CONDUCT & CONFIDENTIALITY
- Communicate respectfully; harassment, discrimination and disruption are prohibited.
- Do not post identifiable client or patient information in discussions, messages, notes shared with others or live sessions.
- Follow applicable professional and ethical obligations.
- Do not attempt to bypass access controls, copy accounts or interfere with the platform.
Discussion areas are private to authorised students but must never be treated as a secure clinical-record system.
09 INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & PERMITTED USE
- All programme text, video, diagrams, downloads, design and teaching materials remain protected by intellectual-property rights.
- The student receives a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for private study during the access period.
- Copying, redistribution, resale, public display, bulk downloading, recording live sessions without consent or using materials to train an external system is prohibited unless written permission is given.
10 NOTES, MESSAGES & LEARNING RECORDS
- Private lesson notes remain visible only to the student by default.
- Progress, completion and account records may be viewed by authorised administrators for programme delivery, support, assessment and security.
- Personal data is handled under the Privacy Policy commitments stated at enrolment.
11 CHANGES TO CONTENT OR SCHEDULE
- The Institute may make reasonable academic, technical or scheduling updates to keep the programme current, secure and operational.
- Updates must not materially remove the core programme purchased.
- Material changes will be communicated to affected students and addressed in accordance with applicable law.
12 SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION
- Access may be temporarily suspended to protect security, investigate misuse or address a serious breach.
- For a material breach, the Institute will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy where appropriate.
- Serious unlawful conduct, account sharing or unauthorised distribution may justify immediate restriction.
- Suspension or termination does not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13 RESPONSIBILITY & STATUTORY RIGHTS
- The Institute does not guarantee a particular clinical, employment, commercial or accreditation outcome.
- Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights where digital content or services are not supplied as agreed.
14 GOVERNING LAW, COMPLAINTS & CONTACT
- These terms are governed by Irish law. Mandatory consumer protections applying in the student’s country of residence remain unaffected.
